The Cherokee County (NC) Tourism Development Authority had an outdated website that was difficult to add listings to, and impossible to optimize. Their logo was not available in high resolution and needed to be updated to a modern, clean design. We started from scratch and completely redesigned their website to be fresh, easy to maintain and optimize, and added tools to help with their marketing efforts. Their new logo design was also used to produce new signage and print materials.

Learn Your Land had a membership website that just was not functioning properly (and was loading very slowly). We rebuilt his website to highlight his high-resolution images and his wonderful instructional videos. Now the site loads quickly and offers the visitor an opportunity to get to know Adam and his passion for nature quickly and easily!

Andrews Chamber of Commerce had a website and a logo, but both had been created many years ago, and were outdated. Their website had broken links and was not very valuable to their members. I created an updated, fresh, and colorful logo and we completely redesigned their website to give their members a full page listing on the new site-and phone calls are one click away from each listing. We also included a section with articles and stories about the local tourist activities in the area, as well as news from the town.

NC Designs also designed all of the Chamber’s Event Identities and the corresponding print and marketing materials.

EVENT IDENTITIES:

The Town of Andrews needed a modern website that would be easy for their residents and tax payers to use. At the same time, their town logo was inconsistent and low resolution. We started by designing a simple new logo that could be easily recognized. We then integrated their utility payment system and added a document download section. The site has also been brought up to accessibility standards.

Neale Bayley of Wellspring International Outreach is one of the most passionate people I’ve ever met. I started working with Neale and his friend and colleague, Drew in 2016. Our first project was to re-brand and create a logo and image that conveyed the “children of the world” aspect of this charity. After we finalized the logo, we created a website that tells their story, and allows them to accept online donations for their incredible international children’s charity.

I began working with the great people of KTW Group, Inc. in 2012. They were ready to make a break from a shared brand they had been a part of, and create their own identity. I designed their logo, and have created 2 websites for the company since then. KTW Group manufactures and supplies stainless steel equipment for hospitals and medical facilities, from their headquarters in Mooresville, NC. Their website offers the visitor the ability to see their full line of products, as well as find a Sales Rep for their area.

After serving on the Board of Directors of Loaves & Fishes in the early years of this new century, I went on to design the invitations and materials for their annual Volunteer Appreciation Dinner, each April. I have been designing for this event since 2006, and it is one of the highlights of my year!
