Mariner

What They Needed: Mariner is a technology company providing digital business solutions for clients all over the United States.  Their existing website was bloated and complicated, and this made their load time slow, and caused visitors to leave the site due to confusion over what to do next.

They needed a new website design and structure that would fit in with their high tech, cutting edge persona.  This included the need for a mobile friendly design, viewable across a wide variety of devices.

Their old design was monochromatic and used very little color-their fonts were outdated and too small.  To be fresh and modern, they wanted a new design that was colorful, yet still allowed for enough white space to feel clean and organized.  Images felt scattered and insignificant.

What We Did:

• Created a new website layout with fewer page changes (combining some related content and using page scroll instead).
• Added colorful imagery and icons.
• Updated the font and increased the size.
• Used responsive design to improve mobile experience.
• Set up the blog page to make it easier to see more of their posts using a “card” style layout.
• Organized their portfolio page by category.
• Added simple, easy to understand calls-to-action for each of their lines of business.
